| Biography of Jia Hao Yi |
| Jia Hao Yi, who signs the name LAO JIA on his paintings, was born in 1938 in the village of Jiming, Zun Hua county, Hebei province of China. He graduated from Beijing Art Academy in 1961 and is now a professional artist in the Beijing Art Institute. He is a National First Grade Artist. His works have been exhibited nationally and internationally.
In 1996, he was invited by Tiandu Art Gallery to hold a solo Art Exhibition in Singapore and the art-book "Paintings of Jia Hao Yi" was published. In 1997, LaoJia Art Museum was officially opened. The Museum, located in Beijing, has a total floor area of 3500 sq.meter, permanently exhibit the paintings of LaoJia.
